Meet Peace

Peace's Story

Peace has three brothers and loves to run around and play with them. She is only five years old and has already had malaria over 10 times.

Peace is a strong little girl but malaria makes children weaker and weaker. The only way to keep her safe is to give her a mosquito net. In November we did just that! Over 400 children like her also received their own net for the very first time.

OUR TEAM WILL MEET PEACE IN OCTOBER.. HOW WILL THEY DO IT?

Top Bananas Travel Blog............................                     JULY 2010

Hello everyone, my name's Bethany and I am the youngest of the top banana gang. I’m going to Africa with the others because I have a passion for the children in Africa which is the reason why I am going to Africa! I’m feeling quite excited about going but a little worried because I hate creepy crawly things!

Hi guys, me and my sister (Beth)are doing great we have recently done a cake sale and raised £12.60. We will do another cake sale before we go and use the money to buy things for the kids in Uganda. love Emily

....Hey guys,
the fundraising is doing really well. I am still doing my paper round, which can be a bit tiring, but it is truly worth it!

As on the cleaning at school front well, my other friends who also clean and me have been made redundant, where our school has decided to not have pupil cleaners but people who clean for a living. So that has been a bit of a set back, but I will look around for more jobs.....Ellie

Hi guys, I have been doing LOADS of car washing to raise money for my injections and it's been going really well. People have also been giving gifts of money to me. I am nearly at my target but I have just got a few more car washes to do. Isabel and Nicholas Case helped me in the rain to do some car washing and helped me a lot. Barney
